1. Which categories products are right for epaykart?

Products that solve problems, add convenience to life, appeal to a wide base audience, having unique features and benefits, and are highly demonstrable are of interest of epaykart. The following is the list of product categories that epaykart is pursuing:

2. Is there a minimum quantity?

A minimum quantity depends upon the price and category. However, epaykart deliver products to customers in almost entire India and a certain amount of product inventory is required. On the other hand, a minimum quantity for the initial test phase is relatively small.

3. Is there a fee or charge for submission?

epaykart does not charge for product evaluation.

4. How can I speak directly with a merchandiser to discuss my product?

Considering the volume of product submissions, buyers are unable to speak directly with applicants at the outset. However, if your product is selected for further evaluation, you will be contacted by our merchandiser.

5. How long will the epaykart review will take ?

epaykart's merchandiser will contact you by email to inform you of a decision in approximately 2-5 days from the time your submission is received.

6. I have multiple products . Should I submit an application for each product?

We encourage you to include multiple products in one application. Furthermore , we think it's a good idea to limit your submission to a small number of products that will be most interesting to epaykart. We also encourage you to provide a link to your website(if applicable)so we can view your entire collection.

7. Should I mail a product sample to epaykart at the time of Application?

No, epaykart prefers that you do not send any samples until we request. Upon evaluation, If epaykart requests a sample, please enclose a copy of your product submission form along with the sample. epaykart accepts no responsibility or liability for the safe arrival, handling, or return of any submitted materials. epaykart does not return unsolicited products. We highly recommend that you do not send any materials that can not be replaced, such as an original mold/dye or prototype.

8. What cost should I keep in mind to have business with epaykart?

On top of the cost of goods to epaykart. There are several costs to consider , including but not limited to :

  • Packaging and shipping your products to the fulfillment center
  • Storing your products at the fulfillment center
  • Required quality testing, certifications and inspections and
  • Supplying an on-air Expert/Guest

epaykart is unable to provide estimates on these costs

9. Will epaykart help me to develop and/or manufacture my product idea?

As of now, epaykart only works with vendors who can supply functional products; epaykart does not assist inventors and entrepreneurs with manufacturing.

10. Does my product have to be finished product ?

The item you submit for a product evaluation should be functional product with secured manufacture.

11. Will you accept the application if the required fields are not completed ?

No, you have to fill out the mandatory fields in order to submit your application

12. Can I access to epaykart's shipping and quality control requirements ?

Once epaykart has decided to provide support for selling your product , we will provide you with access to our Quality Assurance, Packaging, and Labelling Guidelines. We do not release this information until it is determined that epaykart is interested in your product.

13. Who can sell on Epaykart.com

Epaykart is a Business-to-Consumer shopping platform. If you are a manufacturer, a brand owner, a retailer/reseller, a franchise holder, a distributor, a professional artist/artisan or a trader, you can sell on Epaykart. To be a part of the Epaykart Merchant Community, you also need to offer excellent customer support services.

14. What do I need to start selling online?

Once you’ve registered as a merchant on Epaykart, you need to showcase your products online by uploading pictures and product descriptions. Setting up an online store gives you a platform to sell your products, but you need to update it regularly to bring buyers’ attention. Please refer to the ‘Merchant Checklist’ to know more.

15. . How can I change or manage my product listings at Epaykart

You can easily change your product description, price, quantity, discount offered, bundling, etc. From anywhere. You can do it by login into your online store using your own username and password, via a desktop, mobile, or tablet.

FEES, PAYMENT SCHEDULE, and TAXES

We have 3 simple ways to create your product catalog at Epaykart. These are:
1) 1-by-1 Upload,
2) Express Upload or
3) Bulk Upload, using a CSV file.

17. How can I manage my online store at Epaykart?

After you’ve successfully registered, you will have complete administrative access to your online store at www.Epaykart.com/Storemanager. You can log in anytime, anywhere, using an Internet connection to upload new products, change existing quantity or pricing, manage orders & inventory, along with various other benefits.

18. What payment options do you offer?

We offer all the popular online payment options such as credit card, debit card, net banking, cash on delivery (COD), EMI, and International credit cards.

19. What is the cost of selling on Epaykart?

At Epaykart, we believe in a healthy marketplace dynamics to create a win-win situation for all the stakeholders. You only pay, when you sell. Currently, we do not charge for the product listings and online storefront. We believe in the power of combined scale, world-class skills, and economy of scope to significantly lower the cost of selling online, for each individual merchant.
Here are the three components of pricing for our merchants -

  • Set-up Fee - Setting up your store on Epaykart is FREE. There is NO set-up fee.
  • Listing Fee - We do not charge for the product listings or online storefront. If you want more visibility or run promotions, we offer several marketing programs or preferred placement opportunities at a fee.
  • Selling Service Fee - A selling service fee is charged upon the successful execution of a transaction. You pay us a percentage on your final sale value, only when selling is done successfully. Please contact us on merchantsupport@Epaykart.com for further details on our ‘Final Value Fee structure’.
20. What payment options do you offer?
    We offer all the popular online payment options such as credit card, debit card, net banking, cash on delivery (COD), EMI and International credit cards.
    21. What is required on the merchants' end to accept payment?

    We process online payments on merchants’ behalf and send the money to merchant after deducting our selling service fees. Merchants do not have to deal with online payments as we take care of it. Merchants need to provide us their banking details and accounting information so that we set-up an online bank transfer for them.

    22. When should I expect my payments from Epaykart?

    We have a weekly payment cycle. Every Wednesday, money (order final value minus our service fees) will be electronically transferred, for all completed orders of the week, to your given bank account.

    23. Who is responsible for collecting and paying VAT/CST?

    Merchants are responsible for collecting and paying the accurate VAT/CST. Epaykart only provides online channel and communication platform that connects sellers and buyers but buying and selling is the contract between buyers and sellers. The merchant should keep the Selling Price inclusive of all taxes.

    DELIVERY AND FULFILLMENT

    24. Who manages shipping at Epaykart?

    Epaykart offers fulfillment services, called Epaykart Velocity, to merchants for pick, pack and ship process.

    25. How will I know that the product is delivered to the buyer?

    You can check the delivery status of all orders through Login to your Online Store. The information is provided under the 'Orders' tab.

    MERCHANT RATING

    26. When does an order become eligible for a payment to the merchant?

    Under Buyer Protection Policy, our customers can claim return of an order within 10 days of the delivery. On completion of the buyer protection period, if the customer has not registered a return complaint, the order will be considered complete and payment will be made to the merchant on the following Friday.

    27. What is the return policy at Epaykart?

    Epaykart’ return policy builds trust and ensures the safety of its customers. When a delivered product is wrong in color, size, and quantity or not genuine, not new or significantly different than the listed description or has a manufacturing defect, a customer can return it to the seller for a full refund including shipping charges. Refer to our Return Policy Guidelines document for more details.

    28. Who provides the customer service?

    Epaykart provides all the technology, payments, returns, and pre-sales/ point of sale services. The entire post-sale services are to be provided by the merchants.

    29. Can I manage my online store through a mobile phone?

    You can perform many functions using a mobile device with internet connectivity. You can see the online sales report, upload products, change the quantity, change price, run promotions, replenish inventory, etc. Using a mobile device.

    MARKETING and PLACEMENTS

    30. Can you offer marketing solutions to promote my online store and products at Epaykart?

    Yes. We offer a full suite of digital marketing services and preferred placements for you to grow business at Epaykart. Please contact us at merchantsupport@Epaykart.com or ask your account manager for these services.

    31. How do I price my items?

    At Epaykart, you decide the price of a product/service for sale. Please price the products competitively to create greater demand. Online shoppers do online and offline research and then compare prices before making a purchase decision. The lower the price of an item is, the higher is its possibility to get noticed and sold. If you are the cost leader for an item online, you are likely to see good customer response. We can also give you our opinion and recommendations on how to price products.
